What makes 316+ different

The element that gives Karaca 316+ cutlery its durability is molybdenum, a naturally occurring metal used in ocean-going ships and spacecraft precisely because it prevents rust and corrosion.

Stronger and more resilient

By adding 18% chromium, 12% nickel and 2% molybdenum to standard steel, Karaca produces a 316+ alloy that is measurably tougher than common cutlery steels: up to 53% more resistant to scratching and wear and up to 25% more resistant to corrosion, even in demanding conditions.
