USER MANUAL AND TIPS FOR YOUR KADOLAND PIZZA OVEN

Preheating

It is important to always preheat the pizza oven for 10 minutes with the lid closed on setting 4.

After preheating, it is recommended to sprinkle some cornmeal on the stone before baking. Cornmeal prevents the dough from sticking to the stone.

Attention:
Do not use flour. This will cause the bottom of the pizza to burn.

The baking stone

With every use of a pizza oven, the baking stone will discolor over time. This is unavoidable and generally does not affect performance.

The discoloration may increase depending on the use of oils, herbs, and spices. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid excessive oil or similar substances on the stone.

During baking, it is advisable to occasionally move the bottom of the pizza using a spatula.

Important:
Do not allow sauce, cheese, or other toppings to drip onto the stone.

Upper and lower heat separately adjustable

After preheating and sprinkling cornmeal on the stone, you can start baking.

When placing ingredients on the dough, it is recommended to leave about 1 cm from the edge so that no ingredients fall onto the stone.

Controls

  • Left knob: upper heating element
  • Right knob: lower heating element

This allows you to control whether the top or bottom of the pizza bakes more or less intensely.

The unique feature of this pizza oven is that it prevents burning or undercooking by allowing separate adjustment of top and bottom heat.

As with any oven, it is important to monitor the baking process to achieve the best possible pizza.

Maintenance

1. Cooling down

Always let the oven cool completely and unplug it from the power outlet before cleaning.

2. Cleaning

The exterior can be cleaned with water and a sponge.

Clean the baking stone only with a damp cloth or remove food residues with a spatula.

3. No additional maintenance

No other maintenance is required.

4. Stone discoloration

Over time, the stone will become darker. This is a natural property of stone.

5. Important warning

Do not use cleaning agents on the stone, as it is porous and may absorb chemicals and retain their taste or smell.

Never rinse the stone with cold water while it is still hot, as the sudden temperature change may cause it to crack.

Mmmm, let those crispy pizzas and lahmacuns come! 🍕
